So i decided to make an ironing mat which turns my table into a big ironing board.

I m working on a bigger project that will involve a lot of ironing. This is such a nice idea and i love the spotty fabric. Not only do i need to make an ironing mat i have to give my washer and dryer a little pizzazz too. Before you sew your three pieces together make sure they are laid on top of one another in this order. You can make it any size you want with the cotton fabric of your choice and the heat resistant fabric will protect your table top.

Sew the three pieces together on three sides make sure to leave an opening on one edge.
