Insulated door r values range from 4 4 to 18 4. The garage sub will upsize the track and hardware for the added weight. The 1 layer raised panel steel construction provides durability and style. Use 1 1 2 inch thick insulation for doors with metal framing and 2 inch thick material for doors without it.
